Where Is The HOLY SPIRIT Mentioned In The Bible??
In the New Testament, we see The HOLY SPIRIT referred to as listed below:

Called The Comforter
Joh 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all
things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Joh 15:26 ¶ But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, [even] the Spirit of truth,
which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
Joh 16:7 ¶ Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will
not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

Called The HOLY SPIRIT
Lu 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall [your] heavenly
Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
Eph 1:13 In whom ye also [trusted], after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also
after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Eph 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
1Th 4:8 He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.

Called The HOLY GHOST
Mt 1:18 ¶ Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before
they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
Mt 1:20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying,
Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy
Ghost.
Mt 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I
am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and [with] fire:
Mt 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy
[against] the [Holy] Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
Mt 12:32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh
against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the [world] to come.
Mt 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the
Holy Ghost:
Mr 1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.
Mr 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal
damnation:
Mr 12:36 For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make
thine enemies thy footstool.
Mr 13:11 But when they shall lead [you], and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither
do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the
Holy Ghost.
Lu 1:15 For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be
filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.
Lu 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the
Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of
God.
Lu 1:41 And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and
Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:
Lu 1:67 ¶ And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying,
Lu 2:25 ¶ And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name [was] Simeon; and the same man [was] just and
devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.
Lu 2:26 And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's
Christ.
Lu 3:16 John answered, saying unto [them] all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the
latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:
Lu 3:22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which
said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.
Lu 4:1 ¶ And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
Lu 12:10 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that
blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.
Lu 12:12 For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.
Joh 1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt
see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
Joh 7:39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet
[given]; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all

Joh 20:22 And when he had said this, he breathed on [them], and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
Ac 1:2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the
apostles whom he had chosen:
Ac 1:5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
Ac 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both
in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Ac 1:16 Men [and] brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David
spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.
Ac 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them
utterance.
Ac 2:33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy
Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
Ac 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the
remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Ac 4:8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,
Ac 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all
filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
Ac 5:3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back [part] of the
price of the land?
Ac 5:32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and [so is] also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that
obey him.
Ac 6:3 Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom,
whom we may appoint over this business.
Ac 6:5 And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost,
and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:
Ac 7:51 ¶ Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers
[did], so [do] ye.
Ac 7:55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus
standing on the right hand of God,
Ac 8:15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:
Ac 8:17 Then laid they [their] hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.
Ac 8:18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them
money,
Ac 8:19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.
Ac 9:17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the
Lord, [even] Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy
sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
Ac 9:31 Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in
the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.
Ac 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and
healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Ac 10:44 ¶ While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
Ac 10:45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on
the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Ac 10:47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as
we?
Ac 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
Ac 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be
baptized with the Holy Ghost.
Ac 11:24 For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.
Ac 13:2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work
whereunto I have called them.
Ac 13:4 ¶ So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.
Ac 13:9 Then Saul, (who also [is called] Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him,
Ac 13:52 And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.
Ac 15:8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as [he did] unto us;
Ac 15:28 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary
things;
Ac 16:6 ¶ Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy
Ghost to preach the word in Asia,
Ac 19:2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not
so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
Ac 19:6 And when Paul had laid [his] hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues,
and prophesied.
Ac 20:23 Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.
Ac 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you
overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
Ac 21:11 And when he was come unto us, he took Paul's girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus
saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver [him] into
the hands of the Gentiles.
Ac 28:25 And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well
spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers,
Ro 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which
is given unto us.
Ro 9:1 ¶ I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,
Ro 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Ro 15:13 ¶ Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the
power of the Holy Ghost.
Ro 15:16 That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering
up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.
1Co 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost
teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
1Co 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God,
and ye are not your own?
1Co 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and
[that] no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
2Co 6:6 By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,
2Co 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, [be] with

The HOLY SPIRIT is the Third Person in the Godhead (GOD the Father, JESUS
CHRIST the Son, The HOLY SPIRIT the Comforter and Eternal Helper)!  It
represents the Heavenly Omnipresence of GOD perfectly intertwined in being
the continuing presence of JESUS CHRIST here on earth!  The HOLY SPIRIT is
the Presence of GOD forever abiding with us to aid us, help us, comfort us,
heal us, help us, save us, strengthen us, sanctify us, lead us, guide us, and
many, many more attributes that are too numerous to name here!  Also, The
HOLY SPIRIT was referred to in the Old Testament as well (
